When we speak of
"hearts and flowers", we are most unequivocally referring to the
romanticism of a bygone era. Those were the days-when chivalrous men catering to
strong hearted, but "stylishly" reserved, gentle women was the norm!
Those were the days-when the "blush" of a woman’s cheek was known to
reappear "spontaneously", and quite frequently, we may add! Those were
the days-when a man would "go a courting" and it became the uppermost
topic of conversation among families, friends and mere acquaintances; and the
excitement of it all rapidly spawned much banter! Those were the days-when it
was customary for a gentleman to call on a hopeful lady; not of "empty
hand", but sporting a rather substantial bouquet of harvested flowers,
which most likely, were just snatched from his mother’s trophy garden!
Hence, we can
aptly conclude--- those were the grandiose days of "hearts and
flowers"! Victorian Bazaar celebrates that unparalleled time in history by
creating its "Peach Hearts and Flowers Wreath".
We have harmoniously mixed shades of peach "silk" roses and lush dried
greenery, flowingly on a naturel' heart shaped grapevine to produce the gorgeous
wreath. And, we’ve chosen peach, for it is a blissful colour; and it is quite
the rage in any season!
Nothing
could symbolize a bit of nostalgic Victorian romance more than this; and it’s
yours for the taking!
